In 2005, at Woo-yeon’s high school student where he was punished for fighting at school, he first saw Hwan Seung-hee. She was the new transfer student in his class who was older and had an immediate effect over Woo-yeon.
There are whispers throughout the premises and within IPERTY school about Seung-hee as the new girl. The school bully, Taek-ki seemed to have been attracted to her as well. He says, making sure everyone else is aware, that everyone should keep off Seung-hee since she is his girl. That declaration doesn’t make Woo-yeon stop from liking and pursuing Seung-hee in his own way.
Taek-ki picks a fight with Woo-yeon, and as promised, he does not defend himself. Seung-hee feels grateful because she offered Split a few dinners after school, and after dinner yesterday, she became quite a mad woman upon noticing a truck vainly driving around their block.
Woo-yon explains that the incidence alters her mood for the following few days, but, in order to boost her morale, he sneaks into the school’s media school and, together with the rest of the band, plays Seung-hee’s favorite song.

She together with his mother have fled from him but now he has caught up with them and they have to move again. Seung-hee leaves the town and they disappear from contact with each other.

After finishing high school, Woo-yeon begins working at a chicken fryer and drops files making any applications for college. However, his friend, on the other hand, is quite actively looking for a discoverable college in Seoul and she mentions Hankook University.
This leads to a situation where they sound more like passive requests, especially when it is about seeing the pamphlet people because Geun-nam continues to talk about pretty women going to university. The police show up and find Woo-yeon and Seung-hee busy admiring the watches and other accessories, and Yeo-ji openly declares she wants to have sexy women. The two are arrested immediately after that. Woo-yeon assumes that his arrest has something to do with the illegal downloads, however, it turns out that they were accomplices of the elderly employees who helped fill boxes who were criminals. However, the problem was settled, and therefore, they got out of jail from the penitentiary. In custody Seung-hee has already revealed that she only needed three seconds to fall in love with Yoo-geun and told this to Woo-yeon.
After a few days, Woo-yeon’s constant depression over Seung-hee goes as far as smashing Yoo-geum’s car. He mentions nothing to Seung-hee about it until he overhears Yoo-geum loss in a bet to Seung-hee wherein they would go to Europe if he wins a football match with her. Woo-yeon pulls Seung-hee from the pitch and wants to explain to her what he overheard, but she tells him off and does not want to listen to him.
When the match resumed, the first order of business for Woo-yeon was to take care that the team gets defeated, however, after witnessing the pain and disappointment on Seung-hee’s face, he decides to help in winning the match for her. He thrashed Yoo-geum after the match and avoided Seung-hee when they bumped into each other at the university. Seung-hee left for a European tour, and once again they broke the communication lines.
What becomes of Hwan Woo-yeon and Hwang Seung-hee post the college life?
To cut the long story short which is usually drawn out over the episodes, 2012 comes around and Woo-yeon is still contacting his college roommates who he lived with at the boarding house Geun-nam, Kong-ja and Soo-pyo. They were in their last year of study in college after deferring education for completion of military training. Soo-pyo is still serving in army.
Woo-yeon is currently in a relationship with Min-kyung and is employed at the gym as a part time trainer. However, after coming from Europe with Yoo-geum, Seung-hee knows that Woo-yeon was right to caution her about him. They have parted ways and she flew back to Korea. At the moment she is the model for commercials or brands.
In their adulthood do Hwan Woo-Yeon and Hwang Seung-Hee get back together?
One day, Woo-yeon is handing out flyers for the gym that he works and bumps into Seung-hee. The pair then goes to the fashion brand studio where she works as a model and is very happy to see him. They eat together afterward trying to catch up and she discovers that he is in a relationship.
By coincidence, the person who drives Seung-hee to the promotional shoots decides to quit, and Woo-yon volunteers as her driver. The two become closer, and the feelings that Woo-yeon has always had for Seung-hee begin to surface.
This time, it is he who has a barrier because he is seeing someone else. On the other hand, the bond of Min-kyung and Woo-yeon worsens because he’s with Seung-hee most of the time, and they part ways.
Do Hwan Woo-Yeon and Hwang Seung-Hee begin to engage in romantic relationship?
After splitting with Min-kyung, Woo-yeon seeks out Seung-hee on the set where she’s doing a commercial and informs her about the ending of his relationship with Min-kyung. Those lingering memories of her father blaming her mother for his failures and choices become the tipping point for Seung-hee not to stay with Woo-yeon. Other than this, she moves to Belgium for a job that her company had offered her previously. In contrast, Woo-yeon works as a substitute teacher and later gets a permanent teaching position.
Will Hwang Seung-hee and Do Hwan Woo-yeon end up getting back together?
In the present time which is 2017, Seung-hee is looking for Woo-yeon so that she can inform him about her marriage. She inspired him to be a dreamer and made him aspire to work hard to achieve that dream. She encouraged him to go to college, and because of her, he is the man he is today. He hopes for her happiness in life where there is love and laughter.
